Welcome to Lakes&Woods, and thank you for finding your way to our site!

At Lakes&Woods it's all about the passion for high-quality leather and the art of handcrafting. I began my journey into the world of leather in 2019 and since then I have shared my love for handmade leather products and minimalist design with others.

For me, minimalism means creating products that are free of unnecessary frills and unnecessary "bling-bling". Lakes&Woods is about finding beauty in simple elegance without compromising on quality and functionality.

Our products are all handmade in Bad Waldsee, near the picturesque Lake Constance in southern Germany. The name Lakes&Woods is my dedication to my hometown, which means a lot to me. And of course I have my loyal companion by my side - my "Buddy in Crime" 👫🏻.

The selection of materials is crucial for the quality of our products. We source our leather from Conceria Puccini, a renowned tannery in Tuscany that only uses 100% vegetable tanned leather. This leather is made from first-class cowhide of French origin and stands for sustainability and the highest quality.

For sewing our products we use Tiger hand sewing thread Ritza 25, which is considered one of the best threads for hand sewing work. This yarn is characterized by its exceptional stability and durability, it is tightly woven and treated with high-quality wax.

The manufacture of each of our products requires time and precision as the entire process is carried out by hand. We attach great importance to clean work and attention to detail. Therefore, the delivery time may take up to 7 working days, but we are sure that the result will be worth the waiting time.
